An Event to Put New Mexico’s Kids First
New Mexico Kids First day at the Roundhouse in Santa Fe will bring together parents, family leaders, business and community leaders, and high school students to raise a unified voice for better public schools for all New Mexico children.
The event will include powerful learning experiences, inspiring speakers, and opportunities to meet with decision-makers who help shape New Mexico's public education system.

8:00 am - Buses leave Cottonwood Classical Preparatory School parking lot
9:00 am Arrive at State Capitol
9:10 am Attend Senate Education Committee meeting (Room 311)
10:00 am Meet with legislators
11:00 am Meet with Scott Groginsky, Governor’s Education Policy Advisor
12:00 pm Lunch
“Quality Education is a Civil Right:” Guest Speaker: Ben Austin (Founding Director of Education Civil Rights Now)
1:30 pm Board buses back to Albuquerque
2:30 pm Arrive at Cottonwood Classical Preparatory School parking lot

Breakfast and snacks will be provided on the bus from Albuquerque to Santa Fe.
Lunch will be provided.

New Mexico Kids First programming and meals are free for those who attend.

Bus transportation is provided to and from Cottonwood Classical Preparatory School.

We will be live-streaming “Education Is A Civil Right” event with Ben Austin at 12:00 pm.
